Hsinchu, Taiwan — August 14, 2026 — Trust Bio-sonics has announced a major milestone in its expansion into the U.S. market: the successful enrollment and dosing of the first patient in its U.S. Phase 3 clinical trial for TBS-002, the company's next-generation ultrasound microbubble contrast agent.

The trial is led by Dr. Anthony N. DeMaria, a renowned cardiology authority and pioneer in cardiovascular ultrasound from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD).

This pivotal U.S. study is designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of TBS-002 in enhancing image quality during clinical echocardiography. To comprehensively fulfill the clinical demands of North American physicians, the trial incorporates evaluations of repeat dosing regimens and advanced administration techniques. Final data readout and trial unblinding are projected for 2027.

In parallel, Trust Bio-sonics' Phase 3 clinical trial for TBS-002 in Taiwan is approaching its data unblinding phase.
