Visphere™

Visphere™ is an ultrasound enhancing agent suitable for pets and veterinary use. It is characterized by being non-nephrotoxic, non-invasive, and a diagnostic tool that does not require anesthesia. Visphere™ can enhance ultrasound image quality and provide clear and accurate blood flow/blood dynamics information, assisting in cardiovascular diagnosis, tumor differentiation, health checks, and more. It is suitable for clinical scenarios such as unclear ultrasound images, abnormal blood and urine test indices requiring clarification of the cause, general health checks aiming to improve tumor detection, tumor differentiation diagnosis without the need for anesthesia for tissue sampling, or other imaging examinations (e.g., elderly pets or those with a history of renal dysfunction).

In pet ultrasound examinations, using Visphere™ can enhance tumor identification. Especially for internal organ tumors such as liver, spleen, and kidney, it can help veterinarians distinguish between benign and malignant tumors, thereby formulating treatment plans. Compared to fine-needle aspiration (biopsy), deep internal organ tumors have sampling difficulties, and diagnostic rates are easily affected. However, ultrasound with enhancing agents can improve diagnostic effectiveness.

Due to its design, Visphere™ is particularly suitable for high-frequency, high-resolution imaging, providing detailed blood perfusion images of the renal medulla and cortex. When your furry friend's heart ultrasound images are unclear due to factors such as obesity or rib position, Visphere™ can effectively enhance ultrasound image quality, improve the identification of heart chambers and myocardial contours, and detect heart thrombi. Veterinarians can also more easily measure myocardial thickness, providing strong diagnostic information for cats suspected of having hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
